FAQ's
Do you accept dogs?Yes we do accept dogs by arrangement only, however there is a
supplementary charge per dog per week, price upon enquiry. We do not accept pets in Sam
Weller Bungalow 1. Please be respectful of other guests when letting your dogs out, and
ensure you clean up after them.
Do you offer stays less than 1 week?During high season we only offer Saturday to Saturday
stays as a rule, however please get in contact as we will do our best to facilitate wherever
possible. Out of season, it is much more likely that we would be able to accommodate
shorter stays.
How do we pay?Payment can be made via BACs or Cheque, we ask for a 20% deposit upon
booking. Balance to be paid at least 1 week prior to arrival.
What are arrival and departure times? Arrival is after 4pm and we ask for you to be
departed from the accommodation by 10am, this allows us to be able to clean each
accommodation thoroughly ready for the next guests.
Can we arrive early?Unless agreed otherwise arrival into your property is after 4pm.
Although you are welcome to park or drop anything off prior to this, if you’re wishing to
head out for the day.
Do we need to bring any bedding?We provide duvet and duvet cover, pillows and
pillowcase covers. We ask that you bring your own sheets and towels.
Is there WIFI? Wifi is available in most of the properties; but is something we are working
hard towards facilitating in all of the accommodation.
Is there anywhere I can store my surfboard?In the garage there is an area for storage for surfboards/bodyboards, beach equipment and bicycles.
This is stored here at your own risk.
Can we leave feedback?We welcome any feedback you have about your stay and are keen
to improve wherever we can.Terms & Conditions
1. To take all reasonable and proper care of the property and leave it in a clean and
tidy condition at the end of the tenancy. Particular attention must be given to the
kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are left clean and tidy. The Hirer is
responsible for any excessive cleaning costs incurred.
2. To pay for any breakages, losses or damage to the property.
3. To permit the owners and their approved tradesmen reasonable access to the
property to carry out any urgent maintenance.
4. We operate a no smoking policy within the properties and expect this to be adhered
to.
5. Pets by arrangement only.Cancellation
If the hirer wishes to cancel their booking they must make contact to Rowcliffe Holidays via
Email or Telephone, we reserve the right to retain the deposit paid however any other
balance will be refunded to the hirer.
Covid-19
If a positive case of Covid-19 within your party means you are unable to come for your stay
we will try to rearrange your stay. If that is not suitable for yourselves we will offer to carry
over your stay or offer a full refund.
Non-availability of Property
If, for any reason beyond Rowcliffe Holidays control, the property is not available on the
date booked, all payment paid in advance will be refunded in full. The Hirer shall have no
further claims against the Owner.
Caring for yourselves
Every reasonable effort has been made to indicate possible safety hazards within the
property and grounds. However, it is guests’ responsibility (particularly parents with young
children) to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible
hazards. Whilst also checking the layout of the property so that in an emergency you can get
out quickly and easily. Please read and respect any warning/hazard/restriction notices that
have been placed in the property and on the grounds. Please remember that older
properties have low windows, were built before the days of minimum ceiling/door heights,
easy stair gradients, cavity insulation and damp proof courses.
Arrival and Departure Times
The property is normally only available after 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be
vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure please.
Parking
We offer free on-site parking which is exclusively for those staying at Rowcliffe Holidays,
however accept no liability for any loss or damages. Vehicles are parked at your own risk.
Visitors
If you have friends or family staying elsewhere who are going to be visiting, please notify us
as it is important we are made aware of any persons on site as well as vehicles.
DogsAlthough we do accept dogs in some of the properties here at Rowcliffe, it is the owner’s
responsibility to clear up after their dog. As well as for them to be watched at all times, to
